I’m Rob Lowe (also know as Supermundane) an artist, illustrator and writer who enjoys working with geometric shapes, line, colour, pattern and words to create work that is playful, multi-layered and philosophical.

With a background in graphic design (I designed the influential magazines Anorak and Fire & Knives) and more than 25 years experience working across various aspects of the creative world, I approach projects with a sense of humour and a will to make everything I produce (no matter how small) have a bespoke and generous character. I’m interested in making work that is deeply personal but with a wide appeal, rooted in the universality of the human condition.

I’ve exhibited and have been published worldwide, including several solo shows and often work with charities such as Comic Relief, British Red Cross and War Child as well as smaller, less well known, charities.

Always looking for new ways of applying my approach, my work can be seen in public spaces (such as the iconic Tooting Bec Lido and Covent Garden) to domestic applications such as rugs.

I’m interested in collaborating on projects big and small that fit with my playful approach and aesthetic.
